I had a wonderful stay at a charming chateau nestled in the French countryside. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom featuring a tub and a large shower. The natural light streaming through the large windows was delightful. Nigel and Debbie, the hosts and owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were superb. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful country retreat.

Garden views: We absolutely loved waking up to the breathtaking garden views every morning. It was like being transported into a fairytale, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers. It truly felt like a slice of paradise.
Inadequate lighting: The lighting in our room was quite dim, especially for reading. It made it a bit challenging to enjoy a good book before bed.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel, it reminded me of a beautiful French countryside manor. The common areas were tastefully decorated with antique furniture and lovely artwork, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate around the property without any issues.
The only thing I would have asked for to make it an even better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to pay more attention to the lighting. It would have been great if they could have made sure that the reading areas had brighter lights, as it would have made reading my favorite novels much easier.
